In a recent blog post, we wrote about how much we’re enjoying the trend of open weave and sheer drapes. These light and airy window treatments are a versatile choice that works well in a variety of settings. Sheers are a classic look that is beautiful without being boring.
We had the opportunity to deploy our love for sheers and open weaves in a recent client project. This refined home needed something for the windows that was simple but stylish. We went with white sheers to maintain the clean look.
This living area has so many gorgeous elements: the rug, the sofa, the hardwood floors. We wanted something for the windows that wouldn’t distract from these elements, but instead would allow them to shine. These sheers were the perfect choice.
One of our favorite parts of the home was this seating area, surrounded by windows. When the drapes are open, there’s a lovely view of the outdoors. When the drapes are close, there’s lots of lovely natural light, but there’s also the option for coverage and privacy. Who wouldn’t love to curl up with a book in this corner?
Finally, sheers perfectly punctuate this dining area. Once again, the modern and unique pieces in the room are able to stand out against the backdrop of sheer white drapes.
