We featured some of the gorgeous living spaces we worked on in this year’s BAGI Home-A-Rama collaboration with Old Town Design Group, but no home is complete without bedrooms! We had the pleasure of also designing window fashions for the bedrooms of the Home-A-Rama house, working alongside interior designer Wendy Langston of Everything Home to create beautiful and comfortable places to rest.
This bedroom combines some of our favorite design elements – charcoal, gold, and a fun feather pattern. The drapes in this room show how placing seaming at just the right level makes a big difference. White seaming placed just above the bed draws the eye there and shows off the room’s gorgeous furnishings. We love that yellow table!
In this master bedroom, we wanted to show off the lovely windows and trim. These gray Hunter Douglas Vingette® shades were the perfect selection. They’re stylish and provide great coverage, but they still let the design elements in the room shine. If you have trim around your windows that you don’t want to hide, shades like these are a great choice.
As you can see, this year’s Home-A-Rama home combined current trends with classic pieces to create a home that is truly timeless. The neutrals, textures, and seaming you see in these window designs are very much on trend, but they are styles that will look great for years to come. Each room has its own character, but the designs all work together to create a comfortable elegance that is felt throughout the home.
